I’ve never actually been to Portland, Oregon, but this magical e:session has me ready to book my ticket! Thanks to Emily G Photographers and a sweet couple, I’m now dreaming of warm coffee shops and misty Portland days. What I love is that the photos capture what looks like their first date – hands held, soft kisses, long conversations and of course, coffee.  I can’t wait for the wedding photos, I know they will be special. If this engagement shoot is even a small preview of what is to come then we are certainly in for treat!

From Emily G –  These two lovely ladies met while singing actually. Both took part in competitive vocal groups in collage and met while competing. They are both extremely talented. Some might actually recognize Courtney (short hair) from the NBC show “The Sing Off” season 1 & 2.

The location of the engagement shoot was originally a different part of town but due to rain we ended up in a lovely and very Portland coffee shop and bar. Both places had personality, and kept us dry and cozy on a rainy day. Really when shooting beautiful people in love the backdrop fades away anyway. :) They will be getting married this summer at the West End Theater in downtown Portland OR.
